As we prepare to celebrate our 20th anniversary, Central Health is more than an institution; it’s a nurturing partner that’s making sure those in Travis County who need our help the most are not left behind.
Our journey, fueled by the unwavering support of the people of Travis County, has been one of growing together, hand in hand. We’ve been hard at work, not just to provide care, but to weave a tapestry of services that meet the unique needs of Travis County residents with low income, filling in the gaps where comprehensive and complete healthcare had been out of reach.
Central Health is not just a partner but a promise — a promise of trust, of being a dependable ally in our shared quest for a healthier tomorrow. We’re here to ensure that every person in Travis County feels seen, heard, and cared for. Join us as we continue to build on this foundation of compassion and commitment, for it is together that we create a legacy of health and well-being for everyone who calls this beautiful place home.
We have the opportunity and the will to deliver on the promise made by our Healthcare Equity Plan and the commitment made by Travis County voters 20 years ago – to be a mature, comprehensive hospital district that repairs the healthcare safety net in Travis County. The way we get to that bright future is by building trust with every one of our internal and external partners, and with their support to do the same with our patients and our community.
Earlier this month, I had a chance to personally connect with Central Health’s dedicated staff – more than 400 people – where I had the privilege of introducing Jaeson Fournier, president & CEO of CommUnityCare, and Sharon Alvis, president & CEO of Sendero Health Plans.
